In the spring of 2025, it became known that Anzhalika Agurbash was going to get married. However, nothing came of it in the end. Now she has for the first time explained the reasons for the breakup with her fiancé.

"We postponed the wedding, and no life circumstances were an obstacle for us. My fiancé was not afraid of difficulties, distances, or risks to his business. However, the wedding was postponed indefinitely, and we continued to live our lives, not attaching importance to formalities.

After my complex spinal surgery, I tried to contact him, but received no response. All phones were unreachable. He took me to the hospital and flew to Dubai on business.

I understood that he might have important matters. I contacted our acquaintances, but learned nothing.

Two weeks passed before his friends informed me that he was fine, but he was very scared of the consequences of the operation and that I might remain disabled, and decided to leave me. I had to cope with this alone," she shared.

Anzhalika Agurbash added that her work on the new album took place against a background of complex personal experiences.

In 2020, Anzhalika Agurbash participated in rallies against the falsification of elections in Belarus near the embassy in Moscow. According to the artist, she stopped being apolitical when she saw the arrests of Siarhei Tsikhanouski and Viktar Babaryka.

Then she called on every Belarusian to help the protests: "In Russia, my heart is breaking, believe me, ten times more than even those who are in Belarus. From powerlessness and hopelessness. Every Sunday I come to the Belarusian embassy; I missed only one day when my son fell ill. Let this be small, but support."

She admitted that she cried when she saw the brutal dispersal of the pensioners' march: "I come to the Belarusian embassy - and it becomes a little easier. I perfectly understand what people in Belarus are feeling now - I went through this violence in my personal history. You must live, walk, and breathe as one person wants. According to Lukashenka, you must also think as he does."

Because of this, Agurbash, who has both Belarusian and Russian passports, began to have problems in her homeland. She was included in the black list of artists, and criminal cases were initiated against her - she was accused of inciting hatred and insulting Lukashenka.

It went so far that in 2024, even the Belarusian ambassador to Russia, Dzmitry Krutoi, expressed indignation to the general director of "First Channel", Konstantin Ernst, about Anzhalika Agurbash's appearance on air. And Belarusian propaganda was furious that the artist could tour in Russia.

Later, Anzhalika began to support the Tsapkala family. She repeatedly appeared in their streams, criticizing Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Now, however, Agurbash does not publicly express her political views. The maximum statements the artist allows herself are that she dreams most of all of stopping wars around the world. And news from her life again concerns exclusively social chronicles.
