The deceased Soviet psychotherapist and hypnotist Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who lived in Russia since the early 1990s, may be buried in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. This is reported by Russian media, writes the Ukrainian publication TSN.

Kashpirovsky died at the age of 87 in a hospital. According to reports, the cause was a sharp drop in blood pressure against the background of an oncological disease. The farewell ceremony took place in the mourning hall of the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow. After that, the coffin was prepared for transportation, and the body, according to Russian media, was sent by minivan towards the Belarusian border.
It is assumed that Kashpirovsky's body is planned to be delivered to Ukraine through the territory of the European Union, probably via Poland. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
The burial may take place in the family plot in Vinnytsia, where the graves of Kashpirovsky's parents, Mikhail and Yadwiga, are located. In 2018, his daughter Elena, from his first marriage, who died in Canada at the age of 50, was buried there.
At the same time, Kashpirovsky's relatives, according to reports, decided not to cremate his body, although he himself allegedly bequeathed to be cremated after death.
Anatoly Kashpirovsky was born in the village of Stavnytsia, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. He spent a significant part of his life in Ukraine, including working at the Vinnytsia Psychiatric Hospital.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Kashpirovsky left his apartment in Kyiv, moved to Moscow, and obtained Russian citizenship. In the early 1990s, he even served as a deputy in the Russian State Duma from Vladimir Zhirinovsky's Liberal Democratic Party.
