The youngest person on Russia's list of extremists and terrorists is 14 years old

The youngest person on Russia's list of terrorists and extremists is 14-year-old Sofia M. from Samara, born in 2012. As the Telegram channel Mash reports , she was included in the registry due to prohibited literature that the schoolgirl allegedly kept at home and read.

On October 7, the Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service updated its registry of terrorists and extremists, including Sofia M. among others. According to Mash, the girl was also in "extremist" chats where she was influenced.

Her fascination with prohibited literature and participation in such chats became known after the schoolgirl's arrest. She allegedly attacked her classmate with a knife. After this, the girl was detained for 30 days and sent for compulsory treatment.
