OMON officers demonstratively harshly detained 60-year-old manager for bribery
In Grodno, OMON officers knocked a 60-year-old man to the asphalt and pinned him down with a knee. There is no resistance in the video.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs showed a video of OMON detaining the deputy director of an enterprise branch in the Grodno region.
In the footage, two security forces in helmets and tactical gear press the man's face to the asphalt. His hands are put behind his back and handcuffs are applied. The man offers no resistance.

At the same time, the security officer presses the detainee's neck to the asphalt with his hand, and later puts his knee on his back.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the detention on October 8. According to the agency, the 60-year-old man was detained "with the forceful support of OMON officers at the moment of receiving the next tranche".
He is suspected of regularly receiving bribes from a representative of a commercial structure for lobbying a contractor for repair work. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of 2024, he has received more than 70 thousand rubles.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs stopped publishing its violence during political detentions, but, as can be seen, the practice itself has not disappeared.
