A huge cucumber of the 'Uncle Styopa' variety grew in a garden in the agrotown of Shylavichy, Vaukavysk District, writes the local district newspaper 'Nash Chas'.

The cucumber was grown by Alena Ivanawna Bielianinik on her household plot.
In spring, the woman sowed seeds of the 'Uncle Styopa' variety in her greenhouse. She regularly weeded the beds, watered the plants, and loosened the soil.
As a result, the cucumbers yielded a good harvest, and the largest of them reached a weight of 1400 grams.
Alena Ivanawna worked her whole life in the local farm and is now retired. Work on her household plot has become her favorite pastime. In her garden, she grows potatoes, tomatoes, onions, carrots, and various types of peppers, which yield a good harvest.
Berry bushes and fruit trees also grow on the plot. And near the house, the woman grows many flowers that delight not only the hostess but also everyone who passes by.
