American hacker Paul Grant managed to install Cydia application on new iPhone 5 on the release day. It took him around 30 minutes to perform iOS 6 jailbreak.
Cydia is an iOS application that enables a user to find and install software packages (including apps, interface customizations, and system extensions) on a jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
Paul Grant wrote on his Twitter: “Some people wanted the bottom row of text from Cydia, or a photo of the device itself” and posted the photo of jailbroken iPhone 5.
