Nepali mountaineer Tashi Gyalzen has been inducted into the Guinness Book of Records for climbing Mount Everest four times in just 15 days. The man achieved his feat in May 2025. This was reported by The Himalayan Times.

The mountaineer reached the 8848.86-meter summit from the Nepal side four times: on May 9, 14, 19, and 23, 2025.
Gyalzen made his first ascent as part of a team responsible for route-setting and fixing ropes. He climbed the peak alone for the second and fourth times, and for the third time, he acted as a guide accompanying a client.
The 30-year-old mountaineer began his career in 2017. In addition to Everest, he has summited Cho Oyu, Manaslu, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Gyalzen himself called his record a moment of pride not only for himself personally but also for the entire Sherpa community.
In September 2025, Pole Andrzej Bargiel became the first person to ski down Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. This ascent was the mountaineer's third attempt to conquer Everest. His previous two attempts were in 2019 and 2022.
