At the meeting with the students of Belarusian State Economic University on November 12th President of Belarus Aliaksandr Lukashenka stated that the Belarusian authority cannot give up governmental regulation of the economic processes.
According to the head of the state, it is the state regulation that allows the open Belarusian economy to cope with the consequences of the crisis of the global economy, BelTA reports.
Besides that, the Belarusian leader stated that in order to develop the country’s economy up to the global level it is necessary to invest lots of money in it, Telegraf says.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka also noted that the state and the business should be true partners honestly fulfilling the mutual obligations and understanding the social responsibility to the people.
“I always emphasized that I am not against the private property,” said Lukashenka and added that he supports creating more private property in Belarus, which “enables a person to self-fulfill so that we would have more rich people gaining profit to themselves and to the state, creating enterprises, new jobs, paying taxes and providing fair remuneration to employees.”
