A group of Libyan servicemen is undergoing training in Belarus on maintaining "internal security and stability". The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Eastern Libya published a report from the training sessions, Reform.news noted .

In November, a delegation from the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs flew to Libya to "strengthen cooperation in the field of security". Among the members of the delegation were the commander of the internal troops Nikolai Karpenkov and the commander of the Minsk OMON Nikolai Maksimovich.
