The metro explained why the familiar smell of the underground will disappear.

A Belarusian woman asked the Minsk Metro on Threads about the smell in the subway. They explained.

Â«Creosote is an oily liquid with a strong odor, obtained from tar. It emits its aroma in the tunnel conditions, and moving trains spread it across the stations,Â» â representatives of the metro replied.

However, this smell may soon disappear.
