USA Allowed Operations with Belaruskali, Grodno Azot, and BPC

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury issued a general license allowing operations with the Belarusian Potash Company, OJSC Belaruskali, and OJSC Grodno Azot.

The lifting of American sanctions from Belaruskali became known after Lukashenka's meeting with Trump's special envoy in Belarus, John Cole.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania later stated that no discussions are being held in the European Union regarding the easing of sanctions against Belarus, which, in the case of Belaruskali, is a very important factor.
