A video call took place between Viktar Babaryka and Maryia Kalesnikava and Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė, as reported by Viktar Babaryka's Telegram channel.

Viktar and Maryia thanked the Prime Minister for her support and also noted that they would certainly visit as soon as such an opportunity arises.
"They outlined that it is important to give a chance to the diplomatic efforts of the USA, including in issues of releasing political prisoners and de-escalating tensions between our countries, to avoid new security risks. According to them, it is extremely important that the European Union and Lithuania join the efforts of the USA and do not miss the window of opportunity that has opened," the message states.

Currently, Viktar Babaryka and Maryia Kalesnikava are in Ukraine and "see what is happening there." They noted that it is very important that Lithuania and the European Union do not turn away from Ukraine at this critical moment, the post states.
"Viktar and Maryia also consider it necessary to maximally maintain ties between Belarusians and Lithuanians, expand opportunities for their mobility, and facilitate the crossing of our countries' borders. The less isolation, the more mutual understanding," the press release states.
