A prisoner rebellion occurred in a special carriage of the Vladikavkaz — Adler train in Kabardino-Balkaria, reports the Telegram channel "112", which is close to Russian law enforcement.
According to "112", in the evening of October 2, a train with escorted prisoners, coupled at Terek station, was passing the area of Murtazavoyo station. In the carriage where the prisoners were located, someone pulled the emergency brake, after which a rebellion began. According to preliminary information, the prisoners seized weapons from the convoy.
As a result, one employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service died, and three others were wounded. The wounded service employees are not being released by the prisoners. They themselves have barricaded themselves in the carriage, which is now surrounded. None of the prisoners escaped. Emergency services and special forces continue to arrive at the scene.
Later, information emerged that one of the prisoners was killed during the rebellion.
