Female students of Belarusian universities obliged to urgently fill out a questionnaire specifying their height
The survey is being conducted by the National Beauty School, which trains girls, including for Alexander Lukashenka's protocol service. Female students are asked about their height, marital status, hobbies, participation in beauty contests, and are required to provide their social media accounts. Information about those who refuse to participate in the survey must be reported separately.
As per a message sent to universities, female students of Belarusian universities are obliged to undergo a survey as part of the "Portrait of a Belarusian Woman" project.
«The survey must be completed no later than October 2nd. That is, by the end of the working day on October 2nd, all girls must complete the survey,» the message states.
Curators monitor the completion of the survey and compile lists of those who have completed it. If a student refuses, this must be reported, indicating the reason.
The questionnaire itself includes a point about consent to the processing of personal data. But this is not enough. The organizers demand that participants also collect separate written consents. Their forms and sample completion instructions have been provided to the curators.
The instruction to survey all female university students was given by Deputy Minister of Education Katsiaryna Piatrutskaya.
The questionnaire asks to indicate name, place of birth and citizenship, date of birth and age, marital status, and also, notably, height.
Information about education (educational institution, specialty, year and form of study), foreign language proficiency, and additional education must also be provided.
Additionally, girls are asked about hobbies, participation in beauty and talent contests. They are also asked to list key achievements, awards, and prize-winning places in studies, sports, and contests. The questionnaire also requires contact details: mobile phone number and links or usernames on Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, VKontakte, TikTok, YouTube, the Russian spy messenger Max, and other social networks.
The form states that this information is collected for "forming a portrait of a modern Belarusian girl" and will be processed for twelve months.
