Individuals are prohibited from importing fireworks and other pyrotechnic products into Belarus, even if they are intended solely for personal use.
This restriction is enshrined in legislation and applies to any attempts to cross the border with such goods.
Pyrotechnic products are classified as "specific goods" and are subject to export control. In addition, according to Decision No. 107 of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, fireworks are not included in the list of goods for personal use that individuals are permitted to import.
If a citizen attempts to illegally import pyrotechnics into the territory of Belarus, they face administrative liability. Sanctions are provided for by Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses.
The import of pyrotechnic products is allowed exclusively for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. This requires the availability of all necessary permits and strict adherence to the procedure for the movement of goods established for economic entities.
