Vondelkerk is an example of Neo-Gothic architecture; the church was built between 1872 and 1880 according to the design of architect Pierre Cuypers. The temple is included in the national cultural heritage list of the Netherlands, but in recent years, the building did not host parishioners. It was used as a venue for exhibitions, concerts, and public events.
