Trump Throws Lavish New Year's Eve Party and Wishes for "Peace on Earth"

U.S. President Donald Trump hosted a lavish New Year's Eve party at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. He wore a tuxedo, and U.S. First Lady Melania was in a dazzling silver gown. Trump answered a couple of questions from reporters before heading to the celebration.

He briefly outlined his plans for 2026 — "peace on Earth."

Inside the crowded ballroom, Trump told guests that the country "feels great," writes The New York Post.

"We're back. We're strong," Trump noted.

Among the many guests was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had met with Trump days earlier to discuss the status of a Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Also spotted were the President's elder sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and his daughter-in-law Lara Trump. Several Trump administration officials were present, as well as Emirati billionaire Hussein Sajwani, who pledged to invest $20 billion in American data centers.

At Trump's New Year's gala concert, Christian artist Vanessa Arabuena performed, painting a portrait of Jesus Christ live on stage. The painting was sold at a charity auction for $2.5 million — the money will go to the local sheriff's department and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
