'Tok' with Seviarynets: about meeting Tsikhanouski, Kalesnikava's visit to him, attitude towards Babaryka, and Zianon Pazniak's claims

The first 'Tok' of 2026 — the first big interview of politician Pavel Seviarynets after his release.

In a conversation with Nasta Roudа, Pavel Seviarynets tells how he met Siarhei Tsikhanouski and why Viktar Babaryka's position is not close to him. He explains his attitude towards Zianon Pazniak and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and recalls how Maryia Kalesnikava joined the Young Front. Seviarynets analyzes the split in the BCD (Belarusian Christian Democracy) and reflects on the confession of Dudkin, an agent of Belarusian special services. Pavel also gives a detailed account of his life behind bars, informers in cells, and the behavior of law enforcement officers at Akrestsin Street in August 2020. He recalls his path to faith and to Belarusian identity, meeting his wife Volha, and shares his plans for the future.
