A snake was spotted in Belarus in mid-winter

Residents of the village of Zalessye, Smarhon district, spotted a snake on the snow. A photo of the reptile was published by the public page "Rumors. Smarhon".

Specialists and experienced nature enthusiasts note that encountering a snake in January is a rare phenomenon, but not dangerous. There's no need to panic: grass snakes are not aggressive.
