In Brest, a man sought an expert examination after his father's death to prove kinship
He needed to determine if the man who died in 2025 was his father. There was no legal confirmation of blood kinship.

For the examination, according to legislation, personal belongings of the deceased man were taken for genotype isolation, as well as biological material from the applicant, reports the State Forensic Examination Committee.
As a result of the comparative analysis, genetic experts established biological kinship.
The conclusion of the expert examination will allow the man to legally establish paternity in relation to the deceased and subsequently exercise his inheritance rights on par with other heirs.
