On the night of August 1, Russia launched an attack on Kyiv. According to the latest data, 9 people are known to have died, and the number of injured continues to grow, writes UNIAN with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS).
In the Solomianskyi district, two people died and eight more were injured. Among them are two children. At one address, there was partial destruction and a fire in a five-story residential building; at another, cars caught fire in a parking lot. A total of three people were hospitalized, rescuers evacuated 35 residents from the upper floors, and the fire was extinguished.
In the Darnytskyi district, a fire and destruction occurred in an administrative building and a non-residential premise. At another address, cars caught fire, and residential buildings were also damaged. Seven people died in this district, and 14 more were injured, including two children.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, and ambulance vehicles also caught fire. The fire was extinguished. At one address, one injured person was found. In addition, a fire occurred on the territory of a film studio, which was successfully localized.
“Dnipro district: a store was damaged. Pecherskyi district: four private residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. Rescuers and all relevant services are working on site. Information is being clarified,” the report stated.
