The Telegram channel "VChK-OGPU" claims that an explosive device allegedly exploded on the restaurant's veranda while in a person's hands. According to this unconfirmed version, the person who detonated the device might not have known the true nature of the object and was used "in the dark." They died. There is no official confirmation of this information.
According to the Telegram channel "112", 17 people were taken to the hospital. Earlier, the main department of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs reported three dead and 15 injured.
The Investigative Committee of Russia noted that the number of dead and injured is still being clarified, and the causes of the incident continue to be investigated.
A resident of the Stalin-era building on Barrikadnaya Street, adjacent to the restaurant, confirmed to "Vazhnye Istorii" that there was a celebration at the restaurant in honor of some general.
