To speed up metro construction in Minsk, a second "Alesia" was purchased
The construction of new stations of the Minsk metro is planned to be significantly accelerated thanks to the appearance of a second tunnel boring mechanized complex. Issues of the pace of metro construction and the design of the fourth line were discussed on February 4 at a meeting with the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Vladimir Kukharev.

In June 2025, the "Alesia" complex, capable of laying up to 250 meters of tunnel per month, began work for the construction of three stations of the Zialionalužskaja line — "Kamaroŭskaja", "Piarespa" and "Park Družby Narodaŭ" (People's Friendship Park). The construction of the "Park Družby Narodaŭ" station near Bangalor Square is currently underway, and "Alesia" itself is working at "Kamaroŭskaja". In February, it is planned that the complex will move beyond this station and continue towards "Piarespa", and then to "Jubilejnaja Plošča" (Jubilee Square).
According to Ivan Mikulski, head of the Minsk Metro Construction Directorate, the complex has already covered about one kilometer, with approximately two more remaining. Tunneling is planned to be completed by the end of 2027.
To increase the pace of work, a second tunnel boring complex was purchased, as well as equipment for producing high-precision tunnel lining. This complex is expected to arrive in Belarus soon and start work from the "Park Družby Narodaŭ" station.
Regarding the appearance of the new stations, Georgy Protasov, chief engineer of "Minskmetraproject", noted that the focus will be on architectural and lighting solutions, moving away from traditional decoration.
The "Piarespa" and "Kamaroŭskaja" stations will be similar in construction but different in design: "Kamaroŭskaja" will be executed in warm, "fiery" tones, while "Piarespa" will be in a cool, blue palette with luminaires resembling flowing water.
Thus, in the design of new stations, they plan to move away from excessive decor and focus on architecture and light.
