Mexico Suspends Oil Supplies to Cuba Amid Tariff Threats from Donald Trump
Mexico has suspended oil supplies to Cuba amid threats of tariffs from Donald Trump, but has promised to continue sending humanitarian aid to the island, President Claudia Sheinbaum stated, writes La Jornada.

“We will continue to take all necessary diplomatic steps to try and restore oil supplies,” she emphasized during a press briefing.
Sheinbaum rejected Trump’s threats to impose sanctions on countries supplying oil to Cuba, calling them unjust and citing negative humanitarian consequences.
“You cannot harm a people just because you disagree with the government. That is wrong. They have no fuel for hospitals or schools. People are suffering,” the president said.
