The man reported that he had repeatedly treated his teeth at this clinic and paid almost a thousand rubles. However, after his latest appointment, he required medical attention and spent a whole week in the inpatient department of the district hospital. After this, the man demanded compensation for moral damages and coverage of legal costs.
During the consideration of the case, it was revealed that the patient was not properly informed about the possible risks and specifics of the treatment. Furthermore, the procedure was performed by a dental feldsher who was not authorized to provide such a service instead of a dentist. The examination also showed that the necessary diagnostic measures were not carried out in full.
The court recognized the medical service as substandard and ruled to collect 500 rubles from the clinic as compensation for moral damages.
