Alexander Lukashenka congratulated the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and the Iranian people on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
«Throughout its existence, Iran has repeatedly undergone serious trials,» the congratulatory message states. «Recent events have tested the maturity of government institutions and the resilience of the social contract. The preservation of constitutional order in difficult times testifies to the responsibility of the leadership and the ability of residents to defend their choice, not allowing external forces to impose their will.»
Lukashenka emphasized that Tehran's resilience on the international arena commands respect: «Amidst regional military escalation and fierce confrontation with those who use double standards, Iran continues to move along its path, demonstrating progress and fidelity to traditional spiritual values.»
Mass protests in Iran began on December 28, 2025.
