The Kremlin stated that Trump has not lost interest in talks on Ukraine

Moscow disagreed with the Financial Times publication, which stated that talks on Ukraine had reached an impasse after Donald Trump shifted his focus to the conflict surrounding Iran.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow is monitoring such reports but draws different conclusions about Washington's position.

According to Peskov, Trump's recent statements, on the contrary, indicate that he continues to pay attention to the Ukrainian issue. The Kremlin claims that the American president continues to push Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy towards reaching agreements.

Peskov added that Russia is interested in continuing talks to end the war, but the dates and location of the next round have not yet been determined.
