Zelenskyy is not against a referendum on territories, but the deal must satisfy Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave an extensive interview to Atlantic journalist Simon Shuster, who wrote a book about the Ukrainian president titled "The Showman".

In a conversation with Shuster, Zelenskyy said he does not object to holding a referendum on territories to establish peace with Russia simultaneously with presidential elections, but the agreement put to a vote must satisfy Ukraine, writes the BBC.
"I don't think we should put a bad deal to a referendum," Zelenskyy stated.
He added that the idea of holding presidential elections comes from the Russians, "because they want to get rid of me."
Russia insists on the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the entire territory of Donbas, including areas that the Russian army has not occupied. Until recently, Ukraine called such demands unacceptable.
However, as Shuster writes, two of Zelenskyy's advisers informed him that Ukraine "might be ready for the most difficult concessions: abandoning territories in the Donetsk region."
According to Shuster's interlocutors, Kyrylo Budanov, recently appointed head of the President's Office, is consulting with the head of state's advisers on the legal and practical aspects of a possible troop withdrawal.
Specifically, how to do it in such a way that these territories are not seized by the Russians.
"They are really being creative, exploring possibilities of how to do it so that people agree with it," Shuster quotes one of his interlocutors.
This week, the Financial Times reported, citing its sources, that the US insists on holding elections and a referendum as early as May this year. However, in response to this publication, Zelenskyy stated that for any vote to take place, security must first be ensured.

Через Шустера, Зеленский обращается к украинцам, в Вашингтоне и Москве, всё, знают лучше Зеленского, а украинцы пользовали лапшу от АП Зеленского.
Фактический, Зеленский, даёт добро, показывает готовность передать России Донбасс и Крым с признанием их российскими территориями, а также пойти на требование Москвы по проведению президентских выборов в Украине, в условиях непрекращающихся, боевых действии. И всё на фоне коррупционных скандалов с ближайшими сподвижниками Зеленского, которые выторговали амнистию у трампа, за согласие с "мирными" условиями путина-трампа
И, из статьи вытекает, что НЕТ никаких гарантии безопасности от США, а есть земляная сделка девелоперов, прсле заключения которой, никакой Сенат США не будет участвовать в продаже Украины, за 12 триллионов долларов, для трампа и что-то перепадёт США, путину, т.е. не будет ратифицировать сделку, о продаже украинских земель путину за 12 триллионов долларов. НЕ БУДЕТ ГАРАНТИИ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ ОТ США!
С учётом того, что Европа отодвинута в сторону, Зеленский поставлен на шпагат и загнан в угол трампом и путиным.
