Belarusian transported 111 kilograms of hashish disguised as spare parts

Polish border guards detained a citizen of Belarus who was transporting a large consignment of drugs disguised as spare parts.

The truck was stopped for inspection near the Polish-Lithuanian border in the town of Budzisko. According to the documents, the truck was carrying technical parts, but during the inspection, 275 packages of hashish with a total weight of over 111 kilograms were found.

The value of the confiscated consignment was estimated at approximately 2.1 million dollars. The driver was taken into custody. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
