This happened on the morning of February 26 over the western industrial outskirts of Gomel. That morning, eyewitnesses observed a military helicopter flying after the UAV. At some point, the drone began to fall.
It is likely that it was hit by gunfire from the helicopter, the publication writes.
In total, at least five Shahed-136 ("Geran") type drones flew over Gomel that morning. Probably, these were Russian drones that were supposed to attack Ukraine, but for some reason deviated from their original route.
