"An open path to a different Iran." Kaja Kallas commented on the death of Ali Khamenei
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, commented on the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed as a result of US and Israeli strikes.
"The death of Ali Khamenei is a turning point in Iran's history.
What will happen next is still unclear. But now, an open path to a different Iran is available, in which its people may gain more freedom for self-determination," she wrote.
Kallas stated that she is in contact with partners to find practical steps for de-escalation.
