France, Germany, and Great Britain warned Iran about the possibility of military intervention
The leaders of three European states issued a strong statement to Tehran after a series of missile attacks on Middle Eastern countries.

The joint statement was published on the website of the German government.
Paris, Berlin, and London expressed outrage at Iran's "indiscriminate and disproportionate" strikes, which affected even those states in the region that did not participate in U.S. and Israeli military operations. The leaders noted that Tehran's actions threaten not only allies but also European military personnel, as well as the civilian population.
"We will take necessary measures to protect our interests and the interests of our allies in the region. This may include, if necessary, the application of proportionate military defense measures to destroy Iran's ability to launch missiles and drones from their launch sources," the statement reads.
The countries reaffirmed their readiness to coordinate their actions with the U.S. and regional partners.
