Electronic bidding for the sale of a land plot belonging to priest Genrykh Akalatovich in the village of Novaya Mysh, Baranavichy district, did not take place. They were scheduled for February 24, but the auction ended in nothing due to the absence of participants — no one wanted to buy the priest's land, writes Katolik.life.

Father Genrykh Akalatovich
This small plot — the priest's parents' land, located near his parents' house — is now arrested property and was put up for sale "to repay debt from enforcement proceedings."
It is also known to the faithful that a minivan, which belongs not to the priest but to the parish, also fell under arrest.
As previously reported, for charges of "treason to the state," in addition to an 11-year prison sentence, priest Akalatovich was ordered to pay allegedly caused damage to the state in the amount of 1,700,000 rubles — which is 500,000 euros.
He was released, but the obligation to pay the huge sum was not lifted. Previously, the priest's personal car — a 20-year-old Volkswagen — was sold to repay the debt.
Another arrested car is a minivan of the same make and age, formally registered to the former rector, but which is the property of the parish. It is likely that they will also try to sell it at auction. Due to the arrest, the parish cannot use the car, so it has been idle for more than two years.
The priest's parents' house has not yet been put up for auction.
The priest himself still remains in Rome, where he was taken along with Father Andrzej Juchniewicz immediately after his release. Both priests continue to recover after a long imprisonment. Their further fate remains uncertain.
