Commander and Ideologist Changed in the 7th Special Brigade of Internal Troops — Shortly After Combat Readiness Inspection
The brigade was inspected for two weeks by order of Lukashenka in the presence of representatives of the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

Significant personnel changes have occurred in the 7th Separate Special Police Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (military unit 5524, Vitebsk).
At the end of September, brigade commander Aliaksandr Usmanau and deputy commander for ideological work Raman Paliashchuk simultaneously lost their positions.
44-year-old Colonel Aliaksandr Usmanau is a hereditary serviceman. His family has Tatar roots; the colonel's email address began with "Usmanau-Tatarin".
His father, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Abdurakhmanavich Usmanau, at one time served in Polotsk. He proudly noted that the dynasty's length of service already totals 300 years and that the Usmanaus are listed in the Book of Honor of the Internal Troops of Russia.
Aliaksandr Usmanau graduated from the Military Academy of Belarus, becoming the first deputy commander of military unit 5530 in 2019, and heading that unit in 2020. He was later transferred to military unit 5524 — first becoming first deputy, and then commander in 2024.

Colonel Raman Paliashchuk is 45 years old. He took the position of ideologist in 2024, and before that, he was the deputy brigade commander for combat training in military unit 3310 — in the military town of Akolitsa, 20 km from Minsk. Paliashchuk was even elected there to the Astrashytska-Haradotski Village Council of Deputies.
The new commander is 39-year-old Dzmitry Yeusa. He built his career in military unit 3214, serving as commander of the honor guard company — carrying the state flag at parades. Most recently, he was the first deputy brigade commander in military unit 3310.

His deputy for ideology has been appointed as 35-year-old Ruslan Shyh from Pinsk. He also served in military unit 3214, and recently worked in the ideological work department of the internal troops. He was one of the founders of the military-patriotic club "Rys'."

Notably, the changes occurred approximately two weeks after the brigade was inspected for combat readiness. On September 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the inspection, which was conducted "by order of the head of state," had concluded. No public assessment of the inspection results was provided.
At the same time, it is assumed that at least Usmanau will continue his service in the main command of the Internal Troops Commander. Paliashchuk's next place of work remains unknown.
