Changed the procedure for mandatory fingerprinting

In Belarus, the procedure for mandatory state fingerprinting has been changed. The corresponding decree by Lukashenka was prepared to implement the provisions of the law of February 2, 2026 "On amending laws on issues of state dactyloscopic registration".

The document defines which state bodies will be authorized to issue referrals for fingerprinting and to conduct it for new categories of persons who, according to the law, are subject to mandatory registration.

The procedure for information exchange between state bodies in this area is also improved, and amendments are introduced taking into account the practice of applying existing norms.

To make legislative requirements more understandable and accessible to citizens, Lukashenka's Decree No. 565 has been reworded into a new edition.
