He has his own version.

Singer Rita Dakota believes their latest conflict with ex-husband, singer Vlad Sokolovsky, began with her comment under a friend's video. Her friend talked about her small and untimely child support payments. The artist decided to show support and wrote that she understands the pain, as her ex also pays child support sporadically.

Sokolovsky responded with a post: "Margarita currently continues to receive her official child support every month. She has been receiving them for the ninth year already. Phrases like "sporadically" or "irregularly" are absolutely unacceptable. It's completely unclear to me: either Margarita is critically inattentive to check her bank accounts (money was sent to different accounts), or this is another provocation for social media and people who, unfortunately, unconditionally believe every word of their idol."

However, he admitted that he had previously indeed arranged with his ex-wife for a deferment of child support due to his financial problems — she supposedly even proposed it herself, knowing his situation. Sokolovsky believes that this did not negatively affect his daughter's standard of living, as Rita, together with her current husband, blogger Fyodor Belogai, earn well.

At the same time, the singer added that for some time he paid not only child support but also half the cost of renting the house where Rita, Fyodor, and Mia lived. He even gifted his ex-wife a car. However, he accused Dakota of trying to destroy his new family (he is now married to singer Angelina Surkova, and they have a son).

Vlad also complained that his ex-wife sold the apartment in which he had renounced his share in favor of their daughter, with an agreement that the property would go to Mia after she turns 18.
Rita Dakota, in turn, was very indignant at her ex-husband's story. She says that since birth, she has independently provided for her daughter, despite the fact that, according to the agreement, Sokolovsky is obliged not only to pay 60 thousand Russian rubles (approximately 745 dollars) monthly as child support but also to cover half the cost of Mia's education, medical treatment, and various activities.

She also published a screenshot of the child support transfer. It turned out that on the very day Vlad publicly complained about accusations of irregular payments, he urgently transferred money for 3 months at once to his ex-wife.

Rita recounted that when Vlad married her, he had huge debts due to breaking his contract with a producer — the couple paid them off with money gifted to them for their wedding.
And Rita made the first down payment for the apartment, which they later planned to leave to Mia — for this, she sold a four-room apartment in Minsk, which she inherited from her grandfather. The artist claims that she also mostly paid the mortgage herself, as Sokolovsky invested money in his creative work.

Regarding the gifted car, Dakota explains that Vlad bought it with the severance payment that Rita gave her ex so he would renounce his share of the apartment in favor of their daughter.
The singer sold that apartment to improve the child's living conditions — instead of a three-room apartment near an industrial zone, she bought an apartment in the city center near a river. Moreover, Sokolovsky agreed to this option. Now that apartment has also been sold — Mia lives in a large house in the USA.
The artist called the story that her ex-husband rented housing for her, Mia, and Fyodor "nonsense."

It should be noted that for some time, Rita and Vlad tried to be friends as families — for Mia's sake. But now, as Dakota admits, she and her ex are enemies again: "There were several reasons for this. Both rudeness and disrespect, and the fact that he was rude to my dad, and the fact that he didn't return the child on time when he promised. But the main thing is — I learned about several such horrible, dark facts related to what Vlad did during our marriage, that I simply cannot communicate with him anymore. That is, if there is a rock bottom and a point of no return — this is it. I will never be in the same room with this person again, everything is so harsh there..."
Rita doesn't want to reveal the details — she says it would destroy Sokolovsky forever, and she has no such goal.
"All I need is for him to pay child support on time and live in his parallel reality. He tried to "make up" with me recently when he was in Georgia — I said "no" for the first time in my life. This isn't just an argument. This is the biggest disappointment in my life, and unfortunately, it's irreversible."
