Tragedy with a 30-year-old doctor from Starobin — went to extract a wisdom tooth and died
Not long ago, Valeria Babrounik asked for advice on a good dentist to extract a molar. This manipulation ultimately led to the death of the young woman.

Valeria Babrounik was 30 years old, she worked as the deputy head of medical services at Starobin City Hospital and tried to promote a lifestyle blog on Instagram.

In late September, the doctor-blogger sought advice on Threads — she asked for recommendations for a good dentist capable of performing a complex wisdom tooth extraction: "I'm very worried, dentists in my city refused to extract it because they need to saw the bone (the root went into the bone)."
As a result, Valeria went to Minsk to the private clinic "Stamarus," which offers dental treatment under sedation.

The clinic's website states that for general anesthesia, they use two preparations — "Sevoflurane" (a gaseous anesthetic) and "Propofol" (an intravenous drug).
Both are widely used in surgery — for a healthy 30-year-old person, the risk of dying from such anesthesia is very low (we are talking about isolated cases out of hundreds of thousands of anesthesias).
However, in rare cases, respiratory arrest, severe heart rhythm disturbances or cardiac arrest, severe allergic reaction, or aspiration of stomach contents into the lungs are possible.
Valeria did not wake up after the anesthesia. What exactly happened is not yet known. It is likely that this was due to unexpected heart problems.
Her farewell will take place tomorrow in Mikashevichy.
Valeria is survived by her husband and son, who is in second grade.
Just a week ago, she rejoiced when she picked her son up from school: "Being a mother means living another happy day, picking up your child from school, watching him fly to you for a hug, and then together on the way home, diving into childhood and playing."
