In Novomoskovsk, Tula region, after a drone attack, a fire is reported at the "Azot" plant — one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers in Russia. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the enterprise supplied nitric acid to a plant that produces explosives.

The monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported the fire at "Azot". According to its assessment, the AM-70 ammonia production unit is on fire.
Dmitry Milyaev, Governor of the Tula region, confirmed damage to the infrastructure of Novomoskovsk's industrial zone, but did not name a specific enterprise. According to him, residential buildings were also damaged, and one person was hospitalized. The governor stated that 64 drones were shot down over the region.

"Azot" is part of the "EuroChem" group and produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea, and methanol. The enterprise's significance extends beyond agriculture: according to the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the plant supplied nitric acid to the Sverdlov Plant in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region — a producer of explosives.
