Bridge between Chizhovka and Serebryanka in Minsk will not be built

The picturesque residential areas of Chizhovka and Serebryanka are separated by the Chizhovskoye Reservoir. Across it - it's a stone's throw to the neighboring microdistrict. However, a bridge across the reservoir is not planned to be built, said Vladimir Shybeka, head of the Zavadski District administration, Minsk-News reports.

— There are enough routes between the two residential areas today.
Therefore, the construction of a bridge between Chizhovka and Serebryanka is not planned, — noted U. Shybeka. — The transport network fully copes with passenger traffic; there are direct routes, such as trolleybus No. 49, connecting the residential areas.
According to the head of the district administration, for car owners, the route from Chizhovka to Serebryanka also presents no difficulty: it can be reached in 10-15 minutes.
