In Brest, teenagers earned money by stealing scrap metal from villages
As reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, a group of friends from Brest (one 18-year-old and several minors) "toured" the district's villages in a private car.

The young people looked for yards where scrap metal was lying in plain sight. After making sure that the owners were not home, they loaded the loot into a trailer.
In the first instance, more than 500 kg of scrap was taken from the village and then sold. Upon returning home, the owner noticed the disappearance and contacted the Brest District Department of Internal Affairs, reporting a theft amounting to about 250 rubles.

A few days later, another 360 kg of metal was stolen from the territory of an empty house in another settlement.
Now the identities of the thieves have been established, and a criminal case has been initiated against them.
