A Quarter with Housing and Commercial Facilities to be Built on Chyrvonaarmeyskaya Street — Public Discussion Concluded
The developers' main idea is to move away from the format of a quiet 'bedroom community' in favor of a vibrant urban environment, where the ground floors of buildings will be entirely dedicated to cafes, shops, and workshops.

The public discussion for the urban planning project detailing the development of the territory within Ulyanovskaya, Pershamayskaya, Pulikhava, Smolenskaya, and Lenina streets has concluded. It is proposed to create a quarter with residential and commercial facilities on the site of one of the capital's oldest industrial enterprises, as reported by 'Minsk-Novosti'.
Specifically, plans include the construction of mixed-use complexes, with approximately half of the territory allocated for residential purposes.

The ground floors of the buildings will be free of apartments and will instead host cafes, shops, workshops, and services. The idea is simple: to move away from the 'bedroom community' format and create a vibrant urban environment.
A bridge is planned to be built across the Svislach river, connecting Chyrvonaarmeyskaya and Lenina streets.
The population is expected to almost double: from approximately 1.5 thousand people currently residing in this area to about 4 thousand in the future.
The construction of a kindergarten for 230 children is planned, along with commercial and sports facilities. The main goal is for the area to become self-sufficient and comfortable for living.
Both former privately-owned factory buildings and residential houses, including two-story structures on Chyrvonaarmeyskaya Street and private homes on Smolenskaya Street, are slated for demolition.
