US President Donald Trump stated that Israel will no longer strike Lebanon, as the United States allegedly forbade it from doing so. According to him, this decision has already been communicated to the Israeli side.

"The US will work separately with Lebanon and solve the problem with Hezbollah. Israel will no longer bomb Lebanon – the US FORBADE them. Enough!" Donald Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social.
This statement was made against the backdrop of a broader regional situation and negotiations with Iran. Trump emphasized that a ceasefire in Lebanon would not be part of a possible agreement between Washington and Tehran.
Earlier, it was reported about an agreement between Israel and Lebanon for a 10-day ceasefire, but after that, both sides accused each other of violating the agreements.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, more than two thousand people have died in the country since the beginning of March as a result of hostilities, and over a million residents have been forced to leave their homes. Israel states that all its actions are aimed at destroying the pro-Iranian group "Hezbollah".
