Pastor Alexander Barysiuk has passed away

He was 58 years old.

Pastor Alexander Barysiuk of the "Salvation" Church of Evangelical Christian Baptists in Brest has passed away.

The pastor had a stroke and was in intensive care for several days. Believers prayed for him.

"For our mothers, Alexander is a pastor. For our children, he is also a pastor. When they were very young, Sasha would bring us "bomstiki" from the "Evroopt" store to church. After the service in the cafe, the little ones would look for him, and then there was a BANG. This is how the pastor would open the package... He would place a "bomstik" on his palm and clap it with the other hand from above. The packet "exploded" ))) and the sound echoed throughout the cafe. There was a "wow" effect — from the clap, from Sasha's attention, from the new characters received as a gift," — wrote one of the parishioners on social media.
