Completely drunk resident of Shumilina snatched a pistol from a policeman and tried to shoot him in the head
The weapon malfunctioned.
Late in the evening on April 16, a completely drunk local resident (2 per mille) was detained in Shumilina for hooliganism. He asked to call an ambulance and went to the hospital accompanied by a police officer.
There, he had an argument with medical staff. At some point, a scuffle with the police officer began. The video shows medical workers calmly observing this.
The drunk man took the pistol from the police officer, aimed the weapon at his head, and pulled the trigger.
For some reason, the shot did not fire.
The police officer knocked the weapon out of the assailant's hands, who then fled. He was eventually detained.
A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder of a police officer.
