"You will have to learn." Lukashenka compared Belarusian dictatorship with American democracy
In an interview with the TV channel Russia Today, Alexander Lukashenka compared Belarusian dictatorship with American democracy. The comparison did not favor the USA, as, in his opinion, true democracy is precisely in Belarus.

According to Lukashenka, despite presidents regularly changing in the USA, the country's general policy does not significantly change. At the same time, in Belarus, he claims, there has been stable development for many years, and the government enjoys popular support.
RT propagandist Rick Sanchez, in the conversation, raised the question of whether the USA can truly be considered a model of democracy if many problems remain unchanged, and Belarus — a dictatorship.
Lukashenka responded by stating that, in his opinion, Western rhetoric about democracy and human rights often does not correspond to reality. He accused the USA of military actions in various regions of the world and claimed that as a result of such operations, civilians die, including children. As an example, he cited reports of people dying during strikes in the Middle East:
"You are ready to bomb, break, crush, regardless of any human rights — that is the basis of dictatorship."
On this basis, he said that the main human right is the right to life, and if it is violated, then talks about democracy, he claims, lose meaning.
He also expressed the opinion that the USA acts based on its own interests, including economic and energy, rather than on principles of democracy. And he added that within the USA itself, in his opinion, there are also problems with real democracy.
That is why, he claims, Belarus has more "real democracy" and human rights than the USA:
"With us — I have said this long ago — you will have to learn democracy. We have a hundred times more of this democracy than you do. Real democracy, real human rights... What human rights can you discuss if you kill people? If a person is killed — what rights does he have? He is dead."
