"It's a complete mess!" How riot police didn't want a beauty contest winner as their commander — leaked conversations

"Cyberpartisans" published two recordings of telephone conversations involving OMON platoon commander Aksana Krauchanka — with unit commander Aleh Baradaŭka and colleague Hanna Liatsko. In the conversations, Krauchanka shares her impressions of colleagues' reactions to Shakhava's new appointment. These calls took place several years ago.
"There's such a war now. I'm just, damn, in shock. It's a complete mess! (...) I didn't understand anything today... With such, I tell you, reproaches, with such hysterics it was today — it's just unbelievable!" Krauchanka complains to Baradaŭka.
Such a reaction from the team, according to Krauchanka, was a big surprise for her. She convinces her interlocutor that she "never saw any animosity towards Shakhava from their side."
According to Aksana, her subordinates openly opposed the new superior, stating that the command disregarded the opinion of "old-timers." At the same time, Shakhava herself is considered "average" in terms of service length:
"She's like, average, she served 6 out of 12 years. Well, roughly speaking, some served a little longer, but they had two maternity leaves, a maternity leave, that is, well, if you remove that — it comes out the same."
To Baradaŭka's question about who expresses the most dissatisfaction, Krauchanka names specific surnames and formulates the team's main complaint:
"We want our unit commander to have authority among us!"
The platoon commander, in response to her subordinates' indignation, stated: "Commanders are appointed, not chosen by some vote." In response, she heard:
"We will go into opposition, we will not listen to her!"
Colleagues accuse Shakhava of neglecting her duties:
"She's slacking off, she doesn't give a damn about your work!"
In another conversation, with Hanna Liatsko, Krauchanka remarks: "There was a war of the worlds here today... First they expressed all their 'feh, foo' to Lena, then to me. And you understand, with such hysterics, with such reproaches... I say: 'Okay, tell me specifically.'"
"It turns out, Shakhava is so damn awful! She doesn't work at all, she doesn't want to work at all! She grumbles and complains at every event! She doesn't need this job at all..."
— she recounts her colleagues' complaints.
"I don't know, they have so much anger, so much hatred," Krauchanka shares her impressions and adds that she will talk to Shakhava herself about this topic.
In turn, Hanna Liatsko noted that Shakhava is "not ideal" and has been repeatedly caught lying, which she considers a big drawback. In addition, she drew attention to Hanna's "changeable mood" and expressed distrust of her gentle behavior during the appointment.
Krauchanka herself noted that she would have preferred to see another person in this position — Liavonienka, who completely satisfies her.
