We gathered opinions of ordinary Belarusians about fines "for promoting childlessness".
Changes to the Code of Administrative Offenses have been adopted in Belarus. The most resonant part of the innovations was the introduction of responsibility for "promoting non-traditional sexual relations, gender change, childlessness, and pedophilia."
Violators who are natural persons face a fine of up to 20 basic units (900 rubles), individual entrepreneurs – up to 100 basic units (4500 rubles), and legal entities – up to 150 basic units (6750 rubles).
This news caused a strong reaction on social networks. A corresponding video on TikTok has already garnered over half a million views.
"Having children is a personal matter for every family," notes one user. His comment was supported by over 2700 people with likes.
Belarusian men and women actively explain the reasons why they are not rushing to have children. First of all, people complain about financial difficulties:
"So if I don't have money to provide for a child, what should I do?"
"I want a child, but I don't have my own housing and means to provide for it. Will you give it to me?"
"It's cheaper to pay a fine than to support a child."
"The most powerful promotion of childlessness is housing prices."
"With such birth-control salaries and housing prices, no propaganda is needed!"
Some commentators draw attention to health:
"I'm almost 37, a bunch of health problems, barely alive myself, what child? And I can't give birth either."
"I have a health problem, and doctors forbade me to give birth, I can't even get pregnant, and I was lucky. They said: live for yourself and protect yourself, and I do. And I'm very glad that I'm forbidden and can't."
Belarusians also offer their solutions to the problem:
"Then let them raise salaries. Nowadays, you can't even buy a decent apartment, and providing for children will be even harder."
"Give me money, and I will build a family."
Others ask rhetorical questions: "Is everything really so bad with the budget?", "What have we come to?", "What is starting?"
Many simply state:
"Somehow, all of this is wrong."
Someone published an image instead of words.
Sharp remarks are also heard:
"Lukashenka should give birth himself" (130 likes).
"Maybe suspend the work of parliament? What if they are tired and their brains are not working????"
"Enough already... leave people alone!" — writes one user.

А так получается, что кому-то морковка, а кому-то только хвостик от морковки.
Пока не уберем эту раковую опухоль с тела беларуского народа - ничего у нас не поменяется в лучшую сторону, а будет только хуже. Не за горами втягивание Беларуси в войну на стороне рашки и трудовые лагеря в Чернобыльской зоне, как в "дружественной" Северной Корее.
