The 34-year-old Belarusian cultural manager Pavel Sapotska now manages the Moscow museum "Presnya" — which is the museum of the 1905 Revolution.
Sapotska was last mentioned in May 2024 when he became the director of the "Katyn" memorial complex near Smolensk. But, as it turned out, the Belarusian held the position for a very short time. By early 2025, he was already working at "Presnya".
A native of Maladziečna, Sapotska gained fame for becoming the youngest director of the National Historical Museum — at just 26 years old. The young manager was a protégé of the then Minister of Culture Yuri Bondar. When the minister was dismissed, Sapotska quickly left his post as well.
For some time, Sapotska headed the National Tourism Agency, and then worked as the director of the cultural and business center "Belgazavtoservice". Eventually, he went to work in Russia.
