"Andrzej Poczobut is already in Poland, released by the Lukashenka regime. He is a man who proved how strong Polish identity and devotion to values are. He paid a high price for this in a harsh prison," said Karol Nawrocki during a forum in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The President added that the released journalist was awarded the Order of the White Eagle. "I invite Mr. Andrzej to receive the Order of the White Eagle after the completion of the entire adaptation process," he said.
"I thank the President of the United States Donald Trump for facilitating the release of our compatriot. I thank everyone who worked for this success," noted Nawrocki in his celebratory post on the social network X.
