Employees of the traffic police departments of the Kastrychnitski and Leninski District Internal Affairs Departments went on raids to check those who use rented cars. Inspectors monitored how drivers observe speed limits, rules for maneuvering and changing lanes, whether they react to traffic light signals, and also assessed their physical condition and the presence of driver's licenses.
The traffic police believe that such raids improve discipline on the roads and people's safety.
The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds: even if the car is rented, the driver bears full responsibility for everything that happens on the road.
